FootGolf in Yorkshire and the North East

Yorkshire, the Humber and the North East have three FootGolf venues that we could confirm on their own websites: One Stop Golf in Hull, Grimsby Golf Centre, and the council's Whitley Bay Mini Golf and FootGolf site in North Tyneside. We could not confirm any venue in Leeds, York or Newcastle.

Where to play

  • One Stop Golf, National Avenue, Hull, East Yorkshire: A 9-hole course that the venue calls the UK's first accredited FootGolf course, built with all-weather synthetic tees and greens so you can play through the winter. Listed prices: 9 holes £7.50 for adults and £5 for children, 18 holes £10 and £7, with football hire included. Opening is 9am to 7:30pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4:30pm Friday to Sunday and on bank holidays, with the last tee-off 60 minutes before dark for 9 holes and 90 minutes before dark for 18, all year round. Book online or call 01482 494948. Group and party packages are available.
  • Grimsby Golf Centre, Cromwell Road, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, DN31 2BH: An 18-hole course used only for FootGolf and open throughout the year, with the centre open 9am to 9pm daily. Listed prices: adults aged 18 to 64 £9.95, children aged 4 to 17 £7.95, concessions £8.95, a family of four £29 and a family of five £35, and groups of more than eight £8 for adults and £7 for under-18s. Footballs can be hired for £2 with a £5 refundable deposit. Booking is recommended at busy times, or you can turn up and pay at reception. Call 01472 268064.
  • Whitley Bay Mini Golf and FootGolf, Whitley Bay, North Tyneside: A North Tyneside Council site whose price list says it was correct on 1 June 2026. Adults pay £11.80 for 18 holes and £7.80 for 9, or £10 and £6.70 with an easecard. Seniors and juniors pay £8.40 for 18 and £5.70 for 9, or £7.20 and £4.50 with an easecard. Family tickets for two adults and two children are £32.50 for 18 holes and £19 for 9. A combined 9 holes of mini golf and 9 of FootGolf costs £12.90 for adults. Call (0191) 643 7470 or email whitleybayminigolf@northtyneside.gov.uk.

Prices, hours and booking rules are as listed on each venue's own website or booking page when we checked on 18 October 2026. Venues change them often, so confirm with the venue before you travel.

Hull and Grimsby both say they are open all year, which makes them the safest winter options in this region.

Listed elsewhere, but not confirmed

These places show up in older directories or searches. We could not confirm that they offer FootGolf today, so we have not listed them as venues.

  • Leeds, including Calverley and South Leeds: Older directories list courses. We found no venue on a venue's own website, so a phone check with the venue is needed before one is added.
  • Filey, Scarborough, Sewerby and Snainton: Older directories list FootGolf on the Yorkshire coast. We found no current page on a venue's own website.
  • York, Huddersfield, Rother Valley near Sheffield, Whitwood and Stokesley: Listed in older directories. We found no current page on a venue's own website for any of them.
  • Sutton Park, Hull: Older directories list a second Hull course here. Hull's council pages for the course describe golf only, and we found no FootGolf offer.
  • Newcastle, Morpeth and Durham: People search for FootGolf in these places. We found no venue on a venue's own website in any of them.

Before you go

FootGolf venues change their offer often, so confirm that FootGolf is running and check prices and booking on the venue's own page before you travel. Wear turf or indoor soccer shoes, not cleats: our equipment and dress code guide has the details, and how to play FootGolf covers the rules.
