FootGolf in the East of England

The East of England has eight FootGolf venues that we could confirm on their own websites or council pages: West Park in Chelmsford, Lexden Wood in Colchester, Cambridge Footgolf, two council courses in Norwich, a seasonal cliff-top course at Hunstanton, and Panshanger and Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire.

Where to play

  • West Park Golf Centre, West Park, Chelmsford, Essex: An 18-hole FootGolf course beside the centre's pitch and putt, disc golf and adventure golf. Listed prices: 9 holes £7.50 for adults and £6 for juniors, 18 holes £9.50 and £8. Hiring a football costs £2 and is not refundable. Book through the Book Now page on the centre's website.
  • Lexden Wood Golf Club (Playgolf Colchester), Bakers Lane, Colchester, Essex, CO3 4AU: A 9-hole course where you turn up, pay and play, with footballs provided and trainers all you need. Listed prices: children under 16 £7, adults £10, and family tickets of £25 for one adult and three children or £28 for two adults and two children. Pay on arrival at reception, and busy times may mean a queue. Groups of eight or more should message the club on WhatsApp so it can keep space free.
  • Cambridge Footgolf, Milton, on the north edge of Cambridge: A course set in 35 acres on the edge of Milton, a couple of miles north of the city, with free parking and access on foot, by bike, car, bus and train. The site says prices start from £6 for under-16s and £10 for adults, with discounts for students, seniors and large groups. Book online or call 01223 632003.
  • Eaton Park, Norwich, South Park Avenue, Norwich, NR4 7AU: A council-run course on the park's pitch and putt, with no need to book. The council lists FootGolf on Tuesday and Friday from 3pm to the last round, and on Saturday from 1pm to the last round. Listed prices: adults £8.80, under-18s and Go4Less cardholders £4.50, and a family ticket at £22 for two adults and two children or one adult and three. The council publishes last-round times on its own page, so check them before you go.
  • Mousehold Heath, Norwich, NR1 4HW, north of Norwich: The council's second Norwich course, also on a pitch and putt, with no booking needed. FootGolf runs on Monday and Thursday from 3pm and on Sunday from 1pm, each until the last round. The prices match Eaton Park: £8.80 for adults, £4.50 for under-18s and Go4Less cardholders, and £22 for a family ticket. Parking is available at several access points.
  • Hunstanton FootGolf, Golf Course Road, Hunstanton, PE36 6JJ: A 9-hole council course on the cliff top that opened in 2015 and shares a site with the pitch and putt. It is seasonal: open daily from 10am from 1 April to the end of September, with the closing time depending on the weather and how busy the resort is. Listed prices: adults £6.20 and juniors £5, paid at the hut beside the green. Groups can book through the Resort Office on 01485 535150, which is also the number to call to check dates. Studded boots and dogs are not allowed.
  • Panshanger Golf Complex, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire: A FootGolf course laid out on the complex's pitch and putt, run by Better. Groups are limited to five and play with a size 4 or 5 football. It can be booked seven days a week on the Better website. Wear golf shoes or trainers: football boots, blades, flip-flops and sandals are not allowed. The page links to activity prices rather than showing them.
  • Rickmansworth Golf Course, Moor Lane, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, WD3 1QL: A nine-hole FootGolf course. Footballs are not available for hire, so bring your own. The golf course is listed as open 7am to 7pm every day. The page shows no FootGolf prices, so call 01923 773163.

Prices, hours and booking rules are as listed on each venue's own website or booking page when we checked on 18 October 2026. Venues change them often, so confirm with the venue before you travel.

Norwich's two council courses share a price list and run on different days, so check which one is open before you go. Hunstanton's listed season runs from 1 April to the end of September.

Listed elsewhere, but not confirmed

These places show up in older directories or searches. We could not confirm that they offer FootGolf today, so we have not listed them as venues.

  • South Essex Footgolf, Brentwood: The club rebranded as Heron Golf Club in 2023. Its current listings describe golf, a driving range and padel courts, and we found no FootGolf offer.
  • St Cleres Golf Centre, Stanford-le-Hope: Older pages list a 9-hole FootGolf course. We found no current FootGolf page on a venue's own website.
  • Stonham Barns, Suffolk: Trade news reported FootGolf here from 2014, but the FootGolf page on the park's website returned a not-found error.
  • Barleylands, Romford, Ipswich, Bedford, Colmworth, King's Lynn, Stevenage and Watford: People search for FootGolf in these places. We found no venue on a venue's own website in any of them.

Before you go

FootGolf venues change their offer often, so confirm that FootGolf is running and check prices and booking on the venue's own page before you travel. Wear turf or indoor soccer shoes, not cleats: our equipment and dress code guide has the details, and how to play FootGolf covers the rules.
