FootGolf in South East England
South East England outside London has six FootGolf venues that we could confirm on their own websites: Gatwick Footgolf at Horley, Chichester Golf Club, Brighton Footgolf, Wokingham Family Golf in Berkshire, and two in Kent at Tonbridge and near Folkestone. London has its own guide.
Where to play
- Gatwick Footgolf, Antlands Lane, Burstow, Horley, Surrey, RH6 9TF: An 18-hole main course, par 64, with three sets of tees: white for competitions, yellow for leisure and blue as forward tees. Listed prices Monday to Friday: adults £16, juniors £12, students and seniors £13, a family of four £45 and a family of five £55. At weekends and on bank holidays: adults £18, juniors £13, students and seniors £16, a family of four £52 and a family of five £65. Book through the online booking request form and look for the confirmation email, which can land in junk mail. In winter the course closes two hours before sunset, so check the time on the day or call 01293 820303. The clubhouse serves food and drink.
- Chichester Golf Club, Hunston, Chichester: FootGolf over 9 or 18 holes with a size 5 ball, in groups of up to four, for up to 60 minutes a game, and listed as open 3pm to 5pm every day. Listed prices: adults £12.50 midweek and £14.50 at weekends, juniors the same, and registered carers free, with walk-in prices of £13 and £15 also shown. The page says every game must be booked and paid for online in advance, up to 28 days ahead, or through the club's app. Football boots are prohibited and dogs are not allowed on the FootGolf course. Changes and refunds need 48 hours' notice, and games go ahead in all weather.
- Brighton Footgolf, Benfield Valley, on the edge of Brighton and Hove: A course that opened in 2018 on the old Benfield Valley golf course, rebuilt with FootGolf in mind, with hills, bunkers, sea views and a licensed bar. You can play 9 or 18 holes, and the site says prices start from £5. Book online or call 01273 761001. Each slot is for up to five players at weekends and up to six midweek, and the venue gives priority to pre-booked players.
- Tonbridge Golf Centre, Cannon Lane, Tonbridge, Kent: A 9-hole course, par 38 and 1,099 yards, open seven days a week and shared with golfers. Listed prices, including the online booking fee: adults £12.50, under-18s £7.50, a family of four (two adults and two children) £35, and football hire £1 with a £5 deposit. Book online after signing the waiver, or ask at the cafe for a ball.
- Wokingham Family Golf, Wokingham, Berkshire: A 9-hole course on astroturf greens and tees, which the venue calls Berkshire's first purpose-built FootGolf course. Listed prices for 9 and 18 holes: adults £8.80 and £13.20, under-16s and students £7.75 and £11.65, under-12s £6.60 and £9.90, with 18 holes being the 9 played twice. Football hire is £1 a ball, and a family ticket of three or more with at least one paying adult and one paying child is 20% off. It opens at 10am on weekdays and 9am at weekends, with the last start an hour before sunset. Groups are capped at five. Football boots and dogs are not allowed. The site is cashless. Book online, or call 0118 979 5657 for more than 15 players.
- Etchinghill Golf Club, Etchinghill, near Folkestone, Kent, CT18 8FA: A 9-hole course that you can play twice for 18 holes. The club's page lists no prices or hours, so check with the club before you go.
Prices, hours and booking rules are as listed on each venue's own website or booking page when we checked on 18 October 2026. Venues change them often, so confirm with the venue before you travel.
Chichester, Brighton and Gatwick all expect you to book ahead, so it is worth reserving a slot even if the venue would take a walk-up.
Listed elsewhere, but not confirmed
These places show up in older directories or searches. We could not confirm that they offer FootGolf today, so we have not listed them as venues.
- Tilgate Forest Golf Centre, Crawley: Older pages list a 9-hole FootGolf course here. The operator's website would not load when we checked, and the directories we found show only golf prices.
- Pedham Place Golf Centre, Swanley, Kent: A directory lists FootGolf, but the club's website did not respond when we checked.
- Horton Park Golf Club, Epsom, Surrey: A 2017 trade profile and Surrey County Council's directory describe two FootGolf courses here. The club's website would not load when we checked, so we have no current prices or booking details.
- Oxford, Milton Keynes, Reading, Portsmouth, Southampton and Horndean: People search for FootGolf in these places. We found no venue on a venue's own website in any of them. Wokingham is the nearest confirmed venue to Reading.
Before you go
FootGolf venues change their offer often, so confirm that FootGolf is running and check prices and booking on the venue's own page before you travel. Wear turf or indoor soccer shoes, not cleats: our equipment and dress code guide has the details, and how to play FootGolf covers the rules.
