FootGolf in the Republic of Ireland
The Republic of Ireland has five FootGolf venues that we could confirm on their own websites or council pages: Footee and Ballybane FootGolf in Dublin, Footgolf Cork near Kinsale, Rathbane Golf Course in Limerick and Blackwater Footgolf in County Wexford. Northern Ireland, which is part of the UK and uses sterling, has its own guide.
Where to play
- Footee, Ballinascorney Lower, Dublin 24, D24 A52H: Ireland's first FootGolf course, which the venue says opened in 2013, set in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains with laser tag, bubble football and other group games on the same site. FootGolf is for ages 6 and over, in groups of any size, and takes 75 to 90 minutes. Listed prices from Monday to Friday: adults €10, students €8 (ID required), kids €8, family €32.50. On Saturday and Sunday: adults €13, students €10, kids €8, family €37.50. The page says bank holidays are priced as weekends. Ball hire is €3. Opening hours are 10am to 7pm in summer and 10am to 3pm in winter. Book online or call 087 3952548.
- Ballybane FootGolf at Newcastle Golf Centre, Peamount Lane, Newcastle, Co. Dublin: A FootGolf course beside a par-3 golf course, about 10 miles from Dublin city centre on the R120. The number 68 bus serves it, and Adamstown station is a five-minute taxi ride away. A group of four takes less than 90 minutes. Ball hire is €2.50 a game, or bring your own. The venue does not allow golf shoes, football boots, spikes or studs, so wear runners or soft footwear. Its pages list no FootGolf prices. Call 086 8299 585: the home page says no booking is required, while the contact page asks you to call to book a tee time.
- Footgolf Cork, Ringenane, Belgooly, Co. Cork, P17 YN26: An 18-hole course near Kinsale that also runs HurlGolf, tag archery and Nerf wars, with party, school and group packages. Book online by date and number of adults and under-16s, or call +353 (0)85 229 0367. We could not see prices without starting a booking.
- Rathbane Golf Course, Crossagalla, Limerick, V94 W0Y5: A public golf course owned by Limerick City and County Council that now offers FootGolf. The council's page lists FootGolf at €15 for students and adults and €10 for kids. It gives opening hours of 8am to 6pm in spring, autumn and winter and does not say how to book FootGolf, so call +353 61 313655.
- Blackwater Footgolf, Blackwater, Co. Wexford, Y21 AX60: A purpose-built 18-hole course beside the venue's 18-hole par-3 golf course. The listed price is €7 per person, or €10 to play twice, with footballs supplied. Book by phone on 087 3497201, the FootGolf enquiries number.
Prices, hours and booking rules are as listed on each venue's own website, or on the council's page for Rathbane, when we checked on 18 October 2026. Venues change them often, so confirm with the venue before you travel.
Listed elsewhere, but not confirmed
These places show up in older directories or searches. We could not confirm that they offer FootGolf today, so we have not listed them as venues.
- Seanchoill Sports Complex, Parteen, Co. Clare: Older guides describe an 18-hole course just across the Shannon from Limerick. The only page we found for it is on Facebook, which we could not check.
- FootGolf Kildare, Kilmore: Tourism sites list a course at Highfield Golf Course in Co. Kildare, but we found no website for it, so we could not check prices or booking.
- FootGolf Kilkenny, Pococke Golf Centre: Tourism listings say FootGolf runs here and that you ring to book. We found no official website, and third-party prices differ.
- Cross Footgolf, Co. Mayo: A tourism listing describes an 18-hole course, but we found no working website.
- Bundoran, Co. Donegal: Listings describe a seasonal 9-hole course linked to the Donegal Adventure Centre, open weekends and holidays from April to June and in September, daily in July and August, and closed from October to April. Its website no longer resolves, so we could not confirm 2026 opening.
- Cashel, Athlone, Dingle and Downings: People search for FootGolf in these places. We found news of a national tour event at Cashel Golf Centre, and nothing for the other three on a venue's own website.
Before you go
FootGolf venues change their offer often, so confirm that FootGolf is running and check prices and booking on the venue's own page before you travel. Wear turf or indoor soccer shoes, not cleats: our equipment and dress code guide has the details, and how to play FootGolf covers the rules.
