FootGolf in South West England
South West England has six FootGolf venues that we could confirm on their own websites or council pages: Ashton Court in Bristol, Dorset Foot Golf near Bridport, three in Devon at Exton near Exeter, Cullompton and Plymouth, and Cornwall FootballGolf at St Austell.
Where to play
- Ashton Court FootGolf, Ashton Court Estate (Clifton Lodge entrance), Abbots Leigh Road, Long Ashton, Bristol, BS8 3TX: A 9-hole course run by Bristol City Council beside the estate's golf and disc golf courses. Listed prices: adults £8.50, students, juniors and seniors £6.50, paid by cash or card at the golf hut. The council lists the course as open 8am to 5.30pm, seven days a week, but park closing times are seasonal and can differ, so call 0117 973 8508 for the closing time. Book on the same number. The X3 and X4 buses run from the city centre, and the car park is often full at weekends.
- Dorset Foot Golf, Highlands End Holiday Park, Eype, Bridport, DT6 6AR: An 18-hole hillside course over seven acres, open to the public as well as to park guests, with views of the Jurassic Coast. The holes have obstacles including a loop-the-loop, ramps and tunnels, and copies of local landmarks such as Durdle Door. Book online for a date and time slot, or in person at the Spar shop on the park, where you collect footballs and a scorecard. From December to the February half term you can only book at the shop. The page shows no prices.
- FootGolf on the eXe, Exmouth Road, Exton, Exeter, EX3 0PU, opposite the Royal Marines camp: An 18-hole course that opened in 2016, with a different set of obstacles on every fairway. Listed prices: adults £10, under-18s £7. It is open from Easter to the end of the October half term, and the page lists Saturday 10am to 5pm for drop-ins, weather permitting. Book online to be sure of a slot, with payment taken at the course. A round takes about an hour and a half. Footballs in sizes 4 and 5 are supplied, and football boots are not allowed, so wear trainers or astro shoes. There is a licensed bar, hot food and free parking. The course is five minutes from M5 junction 30 and the number 57 bus stops outside.
- Footgolf Devon, Westcott, near Cullompton, EX15 1YA: A 9-hole course with its own league. Listed prices: adults aged 16 and over £11 for 9 holes or £17 for unlimited play, juniors aged 15 and under £8.50 or £11, and a family ticket for up to five people (two adults at most) at £42.50 or £62 for unlimited play. Book a round online or call 07512 479019. Bring your own football or rent one.
- Plymouth Golf Centre, Haye Road, Elburton, Plymouth, PL9 8AT: A 9-hole FootGolf course at the golf centre. Listed prices: adults £7.50 and under-16s £5, with all equipment provided. The page says no booking is necessary. It gives no opening times, so call 01752 424508.
- Cornwall FootballGolf, Trenowah Road, St Austell, PL25 3GD: A park with two 18-hole courses, Hillside and Parkland, at the same prices. The price list is dated 9 October 2026: 18 holes £12.99 for adults and £9.99 for under-18s and over-60s, or unlimited play on both courses £19.99 and £14.99. You do not need to book unless your group has 10 or more players, who book online. Opening hours change through the year with sunset, and the last kick-off is 1.5 or 2 hours before closing, so check the date on its opening hours page. Call 01726 68952.
Prices, hours and booking rules are as listed on each venue's own website or booking page when we checked on 18 October 2026. Venues change them often, so confirm with the venue before you travel.
Prices run from £7.50 for 9 holes at Plymouth to £19.99 for unlimited play at Cornwall, and three of the six venues take walk-ups without a booking.
Listed elsewhere, but not confirmed
These places show up in older directories or searches. We could not confirm that they offer FootGolf today, so we have not listed them as venues.
- Royal Victoria Park, Bath: On 10 September the council said the previous operator had stopped trading on 31 August and that an interim operator would run golf and FootGolf at weekends only, 10am to 5pm with no booking, through October, with a new long-term operator due from November. We could not confirm what will run after October.
- Windmill Footgolf, Bristol: Older pages list it alongside Ashton Court, but the Windmill Leisure website would not load when we checked, so we could not confirm it.
- Basset Down, near Swindon: A directory describes an 18-hole course, but the venue's website did not load.
- Moors Valley, Lyme Regis and Brixham: Third-party listings mention FootGolf at Moors Valley near Ringwood, at Jurassic Footgolf in Lyme Regis and at Cayman Golf in Brixham. We found no current page on a venue's own site for any of them.
- Gloucester, Cheltenham, Weston-super-Mare and Bournemouth: People search for FootGolf in these places. We found no venue on a venue's own website in any of them.
Before you go
FootGolf venues change their offer often, so confirm that FootGolf is running and check prices and booking on the venue's own page before you travel. Wear turf or indoor soccer shoes, not cleats: our equipment and dress code guide has the details, and how to play FootGolf covers the rules.
