Official governing bodies
The Federation for International FootGolf (FIFG) is the sport's world governing body. It lists a separate member association for each of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
- FootGolf Association of England: founded in 2020 and a FIFG member since 2020.
- FootGolf Association of Scotland (FGAoS): founded in May 2020 and a FIFG member since 2022.
- FootGolf Association of Wales: founded in 2020 and a FIFG member since 2022.
- FootGolf Association of Ireland: founded in 2014 and a FIFG member since 2014.
FIFG's member list has no separate entry for Northern Ireland. Older guides also cite a UK FootGolf Association, but the website address they give now shows an unrelated site, so we do not link to it.

Venues change their offer often. Quite a few of the places in our guides have changed hole counts, hours or operator since they opened, and some have closed. We checked each venue against its own website, booking page or council page, and every guide says when. Treat any listing, including ours, as a starting point, and confirm prices, hours and booking with the venue before you travel.

- How many FootGolf courses are there in the UK and Ireland?
- We found no reliable, current count, and older directories list courses that no longer offer FootGolf. We have confirmed 57 venues across the UK and Ireland on their own websites, booking pages or council pages, and each of our guides lists the places we could not confirm.
- How much does FootGolf cost in the UK?
- Listed adult prices in our guides run from £6 for 9 holes at Tee Time near Blackpool to £22 for 18 holes at Silver Birch near Abergele, and juniors, students and families usually pay less. Venues in the Republic of Ireland price in euros. Each guide gives prices as the venue publishes them.
- Where can I find FootGolf courses in Ireland?
- The Republic of Ireland has its own FootGolf Association of Ireland. We could confirm five venues on their own websites or council pages: Footee and Ballybane FootGolf near Dublin, Footgolf Cork near Kinsale, Rathbane Golf Course in Limerick and Blackwater Footgolf in County Wexford.
- Is there FootGolf in Limerick?
- Yes. Rathbane Golf Course, owned by Limerick City and County Council, offers FootGolf, and the council's page lists €15 for students and adults and €10 for kids. Older guides also describe a course at Seanchoill Sports Complex in Parteen, just across the Shannon, which we could not confirm because the only page we found for it is on Facebook.
- Is there FootGolf in Derry?
- Not currently, as far as we can confirm. The venue we previously listed, the Limitless Adventure Centre in Limavady (formerly Foylehov), appears to have closed in late 2024 after storm damage, and we found no confirmed operating replacement in the Derry/Londonderry area.
- Is there FootGolf in Belfast?
- Not at Mount Ober, which has closed: its operator said the site closed indefinitely after a housing development cut off vehicle access. The closest venue we can confirm is Newtownabbey Footgolf, on the north side of the city.
- Is there FootGolf in Bolton or Manchester?
- Yes. Regent Park Golf Centre in Bolton has a 9-hole FootGolf course, and FootGolf Manchester at Burnage RFC (on the Stockport/Didsbury border) runs a 9-hole woodland course near the River Mersey.
- Is there FootGolf near Gatwick Airport?
- Yes. Gatwick Footgolf in Burstow, near Horley, is a dedicated 18-hole FootGolf course (formerly Burstow Park Golf Club) a few miles from Gatwick Airport.
- Is there FootGolf in Rickmansworth?
- Yes. Rickmansworth Golf Course in Hertfordshire lists a nine-hole FootGolf course on its page. Footballs are not available for hire and the page shows no FootGolf prices, so call the club before you go.
- Is there FootGolf in Essex?
- Yes, at West Park Golf Centre in Chelmsford and Lexden Wood in Colchester. We could not confirm FootGolf at South Essex in Brentwood (now Heron Golf Club) or at St Cleres in Stanford-le-Hope, which older directories list.
- Is there FootGolf in Hull?
- Yes, at One Stop Golf on National Avenue, which has a 9-hole course with all-weather tees and greens. We could not confirm FootGolf at Sutton Park Golf Course, which older directories list.
- Is there FootGolf in Telford?
- Yes, at Horsehay Village Golf Centre, where Telford and Wrekin Leisure Services runs a par 32 course. Older guides also list The Shropshire Golf Centre, which we could not confirm.
